The post holder will be required to work in the 2 Week Wait office to process incoming 2 Week Wait Outpatients Referrals received electronically or by letter. Act as first point of contact for all patient enquiries and be responsible for the booking of first outpatient appointments. The post holder will be required to coordinate their own workload and deal with conflicting demands of the team. Ensure all trust targets are met through effective bookings of referrals in a timely manner and adhere to the access policy.To provide a protocol driven administrative and clerical booking service to patients, their carers and other multi-disciplinary staff within Oncology Administration Team. The post holder will register patients using an electronic Patient Administration System and schedule appointments using an electronic booking system.
