Much of my experience has been in teaching Marketing to Post Graduate students. There are 3 B-Schools where I have taught for some length of time. The longest are at - XIM Bhubaneswar (16 years) and XLRI (10 years). I was also the Director at KIIT - SOM, Bhubaneswar for 17 months and Dean of Praxis Business School, Kolkata for 11 years and a bit. I also teach/have taught at IIM, Kolkata, IIM, Lucknow, IIM Udaipur, IIM Shillong and IIM, Raipur. The latest addition to this list is MICA, Ahmedabad - a thoroughly enjoyable experience thus far. As a Marketing Prof, it's always nice to know that the kid sitting in the class isn't hedging your profession with Consulting or I-Banking!!At Praxis Business School, one of the high points was being part of a team which launched a quality course in Business Analytics.My focus now is on designing courses to enable students, working professionals and entrepreneurs reskill themselves. This will be across some very specific verticals and hence the name of the institution is called Vertical Limit. The objective of the institution is summed up by the tagline: Reskill. Reboot.Specialties: Mentoring may be a loose word because of the way it has been used and abused - but it's the closest which describes my interest as a teacher of Post Graduate students.
