CurrentBoston Scientific, for more than 30 years has been an industry leader in less-invasive surgical technologies.My tenure began in 1989 with Pacemakers, Inc. followed by Guidant Corporation both acquired by Boston Scientific. As a Program Director, I am charged with leading several large cross-functional teams and the development of numerous medical device products. Most recently, I produced a family of implantable devices and accessories for treatment of heart failure patients.In my role, I led a development project for an external medical device intended for transmitting medical data from implanted devices to web servers for clinician use with emphasis on cost reduction and rapid development.Key Accomplishments:► Partnered with contract manufacturer to develop Class III medical manufacturing status.► Established and maintained strong relationships with Strategic Marketing, Technical Services, Sales and Supplier Development colleagues in order to define and produce an efficient manufactured, low-cost design which exceeded customer requirements.► Managed $60MM Portfolio for patient management. ► Collaborated with the clinical research organization to model and design cost effective clinical studies intended to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of various elements of the devices in development.► Directed a team which developed an internet-based patient data management system for next generation of implantable medical devices.► Recruited management teams for hardware and software development, software test, and project management.For a detailed list of achievements, please request my resume.
