I serve Salus University as Provost and VPAA. Salus University is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to offering high quality graduate degree programs in biomedicine and the health professions. The University's founding college, the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), which was founded as the Pennsylvania State College of Optometry (PSCO) in 1919, is one of the oldest optometry colleges in North America. I have more than 25 years of experience in senior academic leadership roles in private independent higher education institutions, where I successfully led accreditation, compliance, curriculum, and finance initiatives.I am passionate about advancing online teaching and learning, program and student development, nonprofit governance, and higher education leadership. I have extensive knowledge and skills in accreditation standards and processes, compliance and risk management, strategic planning and budgeting, program evaluation and assessment, academic advising and support, and staff development and training. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the alignment of Emerge Education's mission, vision, and values with the expectations and requirements of accrediting agencies, state and federal regulators, and industry best practices.
