As a VF Group Leader I meet with students in small groups to discuss how students process and reflect on their coursework and spiritual journey. I am there to help create a space for students listen to God by reading scripture, sharing experiences and practicing various spiritual disciplines. I help student through challenges, questions and concerns they have about new disciplines that may be frightening. I help student think about their questions and support students spiritually during their course.

I had the pleasure of working with a great Professor in a Leadership & Diversity class. This course considered different dimensions involved in intercultural leadership in a North American context, focusing on gender and racial- ethnic-cultural concerns. We touched on racial equality, social-cultural experiences, and how leadership has and will engage these topics in the future. I performed all of the standard Graduate teaching assistant duties such as; lead class discussions, evaluate and grade examinations, assignments, or papers, and record grades, evaluate student work, return assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines, distribute instructional materials, provide assistance to faculty members. assist other educational professionals, notify instructors of errors or problems with assignments, attend lectures given by the instructor and other guest speakers, attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge, work with the lead teacher to monitor the class schedule, assist teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment including co-hosting Zoom classroom meetings, revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups, ensure the virtual classroom environment is safe and clean, collaborate with lead teachers to recognize the issues students are facing and recommend solutions, help lead teachers to create lesson plans.
