I am an accomplished full-stack chief marketing executive with a 25+ year track record of scaling hyper-growth enterprise software and SaaS companies (early-stage through scale-stage; venture capital and PE-backed private companies). I have led the marketing strategy and execution of successful rapid-growers like AuditBoard, HireRight, Mavenlink (Kantata), and Velocify (Eli Mae) through many stages of growth and multiple types of transactions. My career reflects a demonstrated track record in developing rapid growth engines, accelerating pipeline, launching new products, penetrating new markets, building leading brands, positioning to win, assembling and optimizing high-performance teams, expanding globally, leading successful transformation initiatives, assessing and integrating acquisitions, and completing private company fundraising including initial public offering (IPO). Most recently I was Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at AuditBoard, one of the fastest growing enterprise SaaS companies in the world, and a business that was subject to the largest purchase of a U.S. private, venture-backed company in 2024. Over my 5-year tenure I led all aspects of AuditBoard’s global marketing efforts, including market strategy, product marketing, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and customer expansion, from sub $20 million ARR to north of $200 million ARR and successful sale of the company to Hg in July 2024 for more than $3 billion. Prior to AuditBoard, I led the successful growth, expansion, and value creation of a number of other notable SaaS businesses as the head of marketing. From 2015-2019 I drove the rapid growth of Mavenlink, which was acquired by Accel-KKR; from 2012-2015 I led the repositioning and successful growth acceleration of Velocify, which was acquired by Ellie Mae; and from 2001-2012 I built the marketing growth strategy, platform, team, and programs that thrusted HireRight from $2 million startup to successful IPO and $300 million global market leader. For the past 10 years, I have been a company spokesperson and published author in publications like Forbes, MarTech Advisor, CIO Magazine, and the Los Angeles Business Journal. I have served as a volunteer board member for a number of industry associations, including Octane, a non-profit organization promoting technology innovation in Southern California; the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), and the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA-ISP). I hold an MBA from Pepperdine University and B.S. in Business (Marketing) from Arizona State University.
