Every loan scenario is different. The best way I can help my customers is by asking them what they want and go from there. It’s also important to know what their time frame is. Are they looking to purchase in the next 6 months or later? How much down payment do they have, or do they need a Down Payment Assistance Program? How long do they plan on living in their next property? For example: A young couple wants to buy their first home, but they are limited on how much they can afford. They plan on having kids in the future so a 2 bedroom 2 bath home might work for now but in the next 5 to 7 years they may be looking to purchase a larger home. Or maybe a couple who is nearing retirement and all their kids are grown, they might be looking to down size from the 2 story larger home to a single-story home on the golf course. A home might be the largest investment they ever make, and I want to be there to help guide them through the process. My job is to help folks understand their options.
