Projects: 1. SAP business objects Information Steward database migration from HP-UX superdome to more cost efficient Redhat Linux VMware servers. The goal of this project was long term cost saving to the customer with respect to hardware, OS and oracle licensing. Key Responsibilities:• Managing ECC 6.0, BI 7.31, Solution Manager 7.10, business objects, BIA, GRC 10, MDM and other third party applications.• Responsible for defining the project plan, timelines, upgrade strategy, planning the resources for upgrade, and coordinate the upgrade activities with all the teams.• Incident handling, attending weekly meeting with customer and offshore team. • Working with account team on projects to provide effort and lead time for changes and new projects. Communicating progress and completion measures to the clients on timely basis• Responsible for analyzing the Earlywatch alerts for the systems and conducting meetings with customer and associated parties.• Responsible for implementing standards and practices for documentation and procedures for a seamless integration into the global SAP environment and flawless Production Support practices.

• Managed ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, EP 7.X, SCM 5.0, PI 7.X, Solution Manager 7.X, CRM 7.X, BWA and other third party applications.• Transports management via CHARM, create new Project implementations through solution manager and assign the CHARM workflow. • Perform backup, restore, recovery of the databases and handle system refreshes.• Make sure systems are available to the business as per SLA.• Perform root cause analysis of system problems and performance tuning. • Planning and execution of monthly production maintenance, provide implementation and Go-live Support for the new projects.• Part of internal audit team to assist account security team with audit issues.• Perform system refresh, kernel upgrades, database upgrades on customer systems.• Responsible for evaluating system performance, database performance, system health checks and implementation of tuning improvements for ABAP and Java stacks. • Responsible for defining the project plan, timelines, upgrade strategy, sizing the hardware, planning the resources for upgrade, and coordinate the upgrade activities with all the teams.• Client deletion, database reorg using brtools.• Configuration & maintenance STMS workflow as per various landscape configuration.• Responsible for maintain the Java stacks using Configuration tool, Visual Administrator, NWA. Topics include performance optimization, complex configurations, installations/ upgrades and optimized system copies.• Design installation and upgrade paths for mass systems delivery based on unreleased tools and packages. Driven discussions with upgrade tools development team for improving the tool.• Setup demo landscape and provide onsite support during SAP TechEd.• Installation of Business Object Products (BOE, Data Services, Explorer, Integration with SAP, Client Components)• Installation, configuration and patching of ECC, NetWeaver, Portal, CE and BW systems.• Homogenous & Heterogeneous system copies of j2ee• Responsible for implementing standards and practices for documentation and procedures for a seamless integration into the global SAP environment and flawless Production Support practices.• Java transport management using NWDI• Installation of ABAP systems and post-installation activities.
