I am an economist and my professional journey includes over a decade as a Certified Accountant and Tax Consultant where I offered comprehensive financial, tax, and investment services. I am currently employed as a public sector employee at the Evros Chamber of Commerce in Greece, where I oversee the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.). My work is vital in monitoring the activities of commercial enterprises, from their constitution and articles of association to their share capital and ongoing financial obligations. I ensure that businesses maintain an analytical record of their financial results and adhere to existing legal frameworks, thus promoting transparency and reliability in the corporate sector. In my role, I am responsible for scrutinising the accuracy and reliability of information related to various corporate forms, including societes anonymes, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies. This involves a rigorous process to confirm that these entities meet their legal obligations, thereby safeguarding economic and corporate integrity within the region.Furthermore, I oversee the issuance of official documents and certificates that are essential for the operational legality of these companies. My expertise in regulatory compliance and document management ensures the efficient and lawful operation of businesses in Greece.I am currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Democritus University of Thrace, where my research focuses on identifying investment-ready SMEs using advanced machine learning techniques. This research aims to bridge the gap between economic theory and practical, data-driven business insights, enhancing SMEs' ability to secure funding and support sustainable growth.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about teaching and knowledge sharing.
