Responsible for:- As a Production Lead, Complete Execution of job from Planning, Job sequencing, Application Development, Inventory management and Procurement support (Including vendor development, Purchase requisition and creating data logs for invoicing)- Coating Powder and Coating process selection as per requirement from Customer for specific components.- Preparing Quotations for Coating jobs for RFQs from Automotive, Aerospace and Other industries.- Ensuring all safety rules of Oerlikon are followed at all times including implementing Oerlikon core values, Integrity, team spirit, excellence innovation.- Preparation of documents such as Work instructions, PFC(Process flow chart), Control Plans, PFMEA, HIRA, Job travelers, In process & Final Inspection.- Maintained Cost of Non quality below 0.5 % of Gross sales.- Maintained Machine utilization ≥ 95 % of available hours.- Maintained <1 % error in Physical inventory vs system inventory. Ensure proper inventory of materials, supplies, and consumables at all times.- Fixturing concepts for special processes like HVOF, flame spray & Plasma coatings for different profile jobs.- Maintaining AS 9100 and IATF Certification Documentation for Production, Maintenance and store.Projects:- Abradable Clearance Control flame spray Coating for Steam turbine HP and IP casings.,- Worked on Projects of abradable coating of Aluminum Silicon Boron Nitride for Contour Rings for clearance control.- ]Setting up Metco coating services center plant in Bengaluru for HVOF and Plasma spray coating for General industrial coating, Automotive and Aerospace coating. (Appreciation certificate for same)- Development of critical coating projects for HVOF and Plasma coatings for Tungsten carbide coatings, Chrome oxide coatings, Thermal barrier coatings, pump housing clearance control coatings, abradable coatings.
