I am an M.Sc. research scholar in the Department of Forest Resources Management with a strong academic background in forestry and remote sensing. I graduated from the College of Forestry, Ponnampet (KSN UAHS-Shivamogga), where I gained extensive practical experience through forest work, zoo placement, village attachments, and hands-on training in remote sensing and GIS. My undergraduate research focused on the “Assessment of Tree Cover Using Sentinel-2 Satellite Data in Hunsur Taluk, Mysore District.”I continued my studies at the College of Forestry, Sirsi, where I completed my postgraduate research on the “Assessment of Forest Biomass and Forest Degradation Using Remote Sensing Techniques.” Throughout my academic journey, I have enhanced my skills and knowledge through various significant programs, including:Participated in the Indo-German International Conference on RS-Heat Waves 2023Completed the RKVY-Innovation and Agri-Entrepreneurship ProgrammeAttended a 2-day training on the Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in Natural Resources Management under the ICAR-NAHEP-IDP projectI am passionate about applying cutting-edge technology like remote sensing to improve forest management, monitor environmental changes, and promote sustainable resource use.
