Responsible for a variety of projects initially within Standard Life Investments. Then managed one of the initial front office integration projects for the merger with Aberdeen Asset Management, this was a high profile, time critical project utilising the FlexTrade product to bring together the separate dealing desks across the two organisations.

Managed two major pieces of work at Brewin. The first was to help streamline the platform for Brewin's execution only clients by delivering a significant upgrade to the underlying application software, Figaro. This was completed successfully within very tight timescales. The second was to bring Brewin's front office decision support tool up-to-date by completing a significant implementation and migration exercise to a new version of the eXimius application software. This was completed successfully despite significant data migration challenges and a higher level of underlying technology change than anticipated.

Overall responsibility for the Private Bank's Dodd Frank and EMIR programme. The scope of the programme was to identify and manage the implementation of the business and systems changes required to meet both of these regulations. The work impacted several business units accross the UK, Continental Europe and Asia.

Responsible for one of the projects within the ‘Mandarin’ outsourcing programme at Ignis. The objective of this project was the implementation of an STP link between the new third-party administrator and the Ignis order management systems thinkFolio, Longview and Front Arena. This was a small in-house software development project that adopted an Agile / Scrum based approach.

Responsible for a $20m programme in partnership between Sungard and a leading global bank to significantly extend the capabilities of the SunGard Apex product. This required close collaboration between both parties to enhance Apex so that a new platform could be implemented by the bank to support their agency lending business.

Project manager in the major change programme at Barclays Wealth: 'Gamma'. Responsible for the implementation of a new PMS, OMS and Compliance solution for the UK Equities and Fixed Income business in the UK. Using the Charles River IMS package.

Responsible for the implementation of a new solution for OMS, Compliance and Decision Support across Equity, Fixed Income and OTC asset classes. Using the thinkFolio system interfacing through CADIS.

Responsible for the implementation of a new OMS and Compliance system for the Fixed Income businesses in London and Sydney. Using the FLZ Capstone suite (Minerva, Sentinel) with GoldenSource.
