Gowtham has done Executive Post Graduation in Operations Management at IIM-Kozhikode. He is working as a full time Manager at Hyundai Motors Limited. He has worked on profiles which carry the below roles and responsibilities include:-o Module Lead for X0/X1/X4 and EV platforms for Interior and Exterior trims design evaluation and development o Supplier Management through identification of bottlenecks in Injection and Assembly process. o Identify process bottleneck and implement process improvement through Kaizen and 5So Supplier negotiation – Assess the current situation (Business Environment- External) along with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain Management and tactfully negotiate Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Performance targets o Evaluating Styling surface and engineering data of the parts and discuss with suppliers for development time plan, tooling costs, sub-supplier onboarding, assembly line setup and tool commissioningo Lead Interior, Exterior and Cockpit parts development activities to ensure that suppliers confirm to agreed rates and quantitieso Should costing, supplier sourcing support and Purchase related roles related to auto componentso Mentoring team to manage quality through proper process audit (Gemba) at supplier endo Implementing Lean six sigma in supplier development processes to achieve six sigma level (World Class Quality) in products deliveredo Leading a team to judge the Process capabilities of the Suppliers through regular statistical process control auditso Additionally, involving in Assembly line balancing of supplier assembly lines of Cockpit and Bumpers to optimize cycle time, number of stations, bottle neck time reduction and to ensure a proper sequence heuristics.o Collaborate with Design, Development and Supplier teams for VAVE (Value Addition and Value Engineering), Change in design or process improvement to get optimal advantageo Validating/ approving different manufacturing, painting or plating processes involved for parts ensuring the committed qualityo Root cause study and countermeasure proposals for all development related issues and filed issues. QC tools(QC story, 8D, QFD, Ishikawa diagram, why-why plot etc) deployment for every problem analysiso From Vehicle concept stage till SOP, our contribution will be there for all project management, supplier management and Quality management related activities
