Key role: - Head office merchandising or Buyer merchandising• Product costing, price negotiation, order placement to fabric & trims supplier, meeting with buyer, handling factory issues & clarifying with buyer, cost saving measures during costing and helping to increase company profit, sample developments, fitting & follow upsResponsibilities:• Handling 4 factories (Bangladesh, Bahrain, Jordan & Oman units) from Head office as Bahrain • Buyer co-ordination for costing, production related approvals, order confirmations • Negotiating with supplier and reduce the cost of the fabric and trims once after it has been quoted in order to increase the company profit • Fixing mark up for the fabric, accessories and bulletin to increase the profit percentage,• Confirming the orders to buyer once if the production capacity can be met,• Sample follow-up (Development, Fit , PP & production samples),• Fabric & trims order placement & following with suppliers to be on track as per TNA,• Fabric quality checking & follow up of claims,• Updating Critical path (TNA chart),order entry & BOM updates in Tec pack,• Will monitor the supplier rating & sales percentage in buyer website to trace details and feed back for the styles handled

Key role: Factory Merchandising / Production merchandising• Production follow up, sampling follow ups, follow up for fabric & trims dispatched from China, Hong Kong on planned date to meet production and shipment follow up to meet delivery date.Responsibilities:• Head office co-ordination for order confirmations, production related approvals & highlighting if any issues faced by factory for meeting up delivery, • Fabric & trims follow up to ensure the orders are on track as per TNA,• Sample follow-up (Development, Fit , PP & production samples),• Fabric quality checking & follow up of claims,• Analyzing the style difficulties with production , IE team and making arrangements or procure any requirement for the particular style,• Handled wash programs & have good knowledge in washing with shade wise allocation for packing,• Checking fabric quality & garment quality to ensure correct merchandise provided to customer,• Involved in logistics planning & scheduling for shipments,
