 Manage electrical and mechanical vendors in Bangalore, Germany and China on Purchasing activities Purchasing Wiring Harness, Cable parts and packing materials from suitable suppliers. Taking quotations from various vendors for comparative study to enable to finalize the cost for Non-Production Parts. Sourcing new suppliers to ensure the highest quality materials. Negotiate price, terms, conditions and lead time reduction with suppliers. Responsible for procuring non-stock items for the company’s various operation deparments (Engineering, Production, Quality operations and consumables). Execute buy plans to align purchases to approved open to buy, inventory targets, stock turns & Working capital. Execute process improvements to achieve company inventory related issues. Negotiate sales agreements with selected vendors to get the best value and periodically revisit and renegotiate contracts for the duration of the business relationships. Improving existing buying processes by closely examining current systems. Ensure the delivery and quality performance of the external supply chain.
