Experienced Security Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Exception Management, Governance Risk & Compliance, Information Security Governance, Endpoint Security, Service delivery and Incident Management.Below are my roles and responsibilities in current role.  Managing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) of Information Security. Review the firewall requests and maintain the firewall rule compliance.  Handling the Remedy Incident management tool and GRC Exception Management tool to keep track of tickets and issues on daily basis. To engage with different Security teams like, TPRM, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, Identity & Access Management, Architecture and Engineering, Risk management, Skybox, OS hardening teams to ensure that recommended controls are implemented and added for monitoring in appropriate Security application.  Updating the Standard Operating Procedure document for exception management and firewall rules review. Review the Security exception requests and process it with appropriate Security Controls, to ensure risk is within the company’s acceptable range.  Follow-up with Security Teams/IT teams to submit the issue ticket in the Risk Management portal for tracking the reported issues. And followup for the issue remediation.  Responsible for validating the baseline controls for the newly deployed servers in the infra. As a Security Lead, I was responsible for updating the team with the latest Security risks and controls to mitigate the risks.  Conducting process training for all team members and check whether all team members been trained sufficiently in process and have undergone required certifications or trainings.
