Hi, I am Gowtham, A Product Manager by Profession and a super generalist who loves first principles thinking!My curiosity about bringing ideas to life pushed me towards a career in product development. Ever since I lead a team of 22 engineers to develop the first All-terrain vehicle of BITS Pilani Goa Campus, my love for bringing ideas to life grew multifold.I tinkered with python to make number games, made a quadcopter when I was bored during summer vacation (this never flew but that's a story for another day), Lead the team to design, and build the first all-terrain vehicle of BITS Goa. This love for building stuff and the experience of building an Automobile in college pushed me to choose an internship at TATA Motors.I converted the Internship and joined the Program Management Team at Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors. Learned a lot about the thought process that goes into starting a program (which is essential for a program Manager to drive it till delivery). Led cost reduction projects and implemented savings ideas worth xx Cr(Annualized).Following my curiosity to understand how products are built and accelerate my Product Development knowledge, I joined Ather Energy in 2017.I absolutely loved the end-to-end responsibility I got at Ather Energy. I have been fortunate to work on developing and delivering India's largest 2W Charging Infra Network (Ather Grid). During my three-year stint at Ather as Program Manager, I have delivered 2 generations of Charging Infrastructure Programs (Ather Grid), Delivered Chassis components for Ather 450 (India's first smart electric scooter) & Electronics Product Development for Ather 450X.Prior to joining Turno, I lead Charging Infra Products & Business at Log9 Materials. Developed InstaCharge On Demand (Mobile DC fast Charger for EVs), and developed partnerships with over 11 Charge Point Operators to scale up DC Fast Charging network to over 200+ points.Stuff I do outside of my professional life: https://linktr.ee/InjuI am a trek lead and adventure enthusiast.
