It was then I realized that it was going to be all about the legacy I leave that determines how Iโm remembered. My why is the impact I plan on leaving on the world behind me. Having served my country as a U.S. Marine for 21 years, having served North Carolina as a Certification Specialist with the Office of State Fire Marshal, & having served the international fire service as a member of multiple committees with the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) all add to the legacy I will leave on my family, my network, my community, and the world. ๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ค๐จ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ฎ:Servant leadership is not only a phrase, but a way of life for me. Relationships are what drive the world. Who you know and how they can help others is key to truly helping others succeed and achieve their goals. Putting others before myself sums up every leadership position I have had the privilege of holding. Personal and professional satisfaction for me comes with seeing others realize that their dreams can come true. Lifting others up, celebrating in public, criticizing in private, and giving the credit to those who deserve it are the foundations in which I lead and set the example for others.
