I've been working as a Project Manager & Solutions architect in the field of business information systems for more than 15 years. As a project manager, I was responsible for the project planning, project tracking and controlling, status reporting to the customer, managing team members and estimating the project. In some cases, I was responsible for doing the requirement gathering and giving the technical direction for the team during the initiation phase of the project. Usually, I had a team composed of business consultants and developers while I was reporting directly to the CEO. For all of my teams as a manager, I ensured professional development of all members with ongoing coaching, mentoring, individual strength and development assessment, performance reviews and internal communication. As a solution architect and lead functional consultant, I have been actively involved in several large-scale projects regarding business process re-engineering, functional mapping, and gap analysis/resolution. Furthermore, I was responsible for the design, configuration and prototyping of robust solutions while I was responsible for the implementation of integration procedures across systems, custom enhancements, reporting, design of interfaces and roll-out strategies.The breadth of my functional experience includes financial accounting, planning and controlling, treasury, derivatives modeling, supply chain, procure to pay, inventory management, company performance management and business intelligence.Furthermore, I have gained solid hands on experience in client-server, web-based and object oriented development using SQL, C# and ASP.NET framework. I also have technical understanding of Java-based frameworks for building enterprise level applications.
