Mr. Paquin began his career with IBM and spent 8 years in sales, in the Office Products Division and General Systems Division. He launched his first company, DataScan, in Minneapolis, installing systems in a majority of the large law firms in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Kansas City.Mr. Paquin subsequently worked in sales for IBM mainframe software companies, including Software AG, Applied Data Research, Lawson Associates, and Computer Associates where he was Regional Manager for the Southwest US. Mr. Paquin created a Site Analysis Sales System that was adopted by Charles Wang (CEO of Computer Associates) which became the standard sales system for the CA sales force and used worldwide.Mr. Paquin was a Co-Founder of Agency One, a software company in the insurance industry. Agency One was acquired by a consortium of software companies with CNA being the primary owner. Mr. Paquin was a Co-Founder of Paquin Healthcare which subsequently became iRemedy Healthcare. The company has worked with over 400 hospitals in customized retail solutions including branded ecommerce systems. iRemedy Healthcare has developed a proprietary AI driven marketplace system protected by a portfolio of patents.Mr. Paquin has also served on the United Way Board of Directors and has been involved with the Big Brother program and Guardian Ad Litem. Mr. Paquin was also a Campaign Chair for several United Way campaigns. Mr. Paquin has authored an online sales training course, which has been taught to over 50,000 students nationwide through local community colleges. Mr. Paquin has been Public Board certified through Stanford Law School as well as Harvard Business School.
