I’m a strategist with truly global, consistently disruptive business development experience. I have led corporate divisions and tech start-ups, and have worked with sales and marketing teams from retail to hospitality, financial services to FMCG. My past client list includes a big chunk of the Fortune Global 100.I was raised in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, joining Nielsen, a global US corporation, after graduation. In my late twenties Nielsen transferred me to Switzerland to lead their international management services division, where I successfully implemented major transformation initiatives with management teams in 40 countries. In the days of pre-internet personal computing, I pioneered data analysis via early "AI" expert systems, and created some of the first computer-based learning systems. Collaborating with some of the brightest minds on the planet, I founded digital start-ups in Zurich, London, Washington D.C. and Cape Town. I created educational computer games, avatar and virtual world technologies, digital sales and marketing techniques, e-learning systems and edtech apps.I’ve published several books on strategy, digital business, marketing and sales. I lead workshops in mastering disruption, and boot camps in digital marketing, and provide digital marketing consulting services to a wide spectrum of organisations. I’m on the faculty of USB-ED, and I host the Growth Hackers TV talk show. I’m also an Associate of the Centre for Innovative Leadership, and a regular speaker at conferences on digital marketing, disruption, strategy and future tech.Today at Britefire, I help leaders develop strategies to thrive in disruptive marketplaces. At MindZu we are disrupting traditional education with Virtual Adventure Learning, making math education accessible to even the most disadvantaged via the learner’s own phone. MindZu was a finalist in the 2020 Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESAwards), besting 3000 entrants from 80 countries.
