Discipline: temporary worksProject: IDRIS (contract LIS-02). It is a sewage in Qatar, with a total length of around 20km to be done using micro tunneling machines. It includes 70 shafts with depths up to 52m. The shafts are excavated using different methods, between them: VSM (vertical sinking machine), diaphragm walls, secant piles walls and open excavation. I was the temporary works design leader of the project.Main activities and responsibilities:*Coordinate the team to meet the schedule and budget.*Design of the temporary works, including report/drawings preparation.*Taking technical decisions.*Manage the resources regarding the temporary works of the project.*Discuss in the design meetings, representing Cowi and giving support to our client.*Communicate with different disciplines: hydraulics, geotechnics, structures, traffic management.
