- Designed data flows and stored procedures for ETL process to apply business logic, calculate metrics and populate data marts.- Created, redesigned and aligned a multitude of reports and dashboards, used by thousands of managers across the entire practice, allowing for more focused analysis and better communications between levels and across departments. Reports cover all aspects of our business including operations, medicine, labor, Optimum Wellness Plans (a key part of Banfield's business), asset protection and inventory.- Designed process to forecast day-of-week revenue distribution for each hospital of multi-unit veterinary hospital chain (retail model: 800+ units), taking into account seasonality and holidays, and wrote script to automatically update these forecasts. - Wrote process to check integrity of nightly ETL job and determine whether to send or hold daily reporting.- Discovered data discrepancies, researched causes and suggested fixes for key operational data. - Developed visualization for hourly traffic related to labor where hourly data is not inherently intuitive and some extrapolations and inferences had to be made. - Worked with technology departments to understand and communicate system capabilities, coordinate data requirements, evaluate new technologies and establish data models.- Advisor to other teams on architecture and process design (Field Leadership SharePoint Site, PetWare data flows, data mart design). Mentor to team members and associates on report design, query scripting, and identification of potential problems. Proofed/edited team communications and presentations.
