Insight was a great learning experience for me. It was my first full time Sales position in AV after 10 years of Programming and System Engineering . Insight was a micro company with a staff of 5 and sometimes challenging price models from the manufacturers. Without another sales person to show me the tricks of the trade, I jumped in feet first with old school cold calls (min 40 per week). I blended my years of experience as a Control System Programmer with a dynamic personality and won projects on Technical Merit alone, I truly care about my customers technical investment and that why I build relationships that last. I sold, engineered and programmed projects for major Law Firms, Corporations and Government Agencies locally in Washington DC and also Hawaii, California, Idaho and many other locations.

AVWashington was the best AV team I ever worked with in my career, I learned so much from the team that was in place during my years of service. I started as a tech, became a project manager then finished off as a Crestron Programmer and DSP Engineer. It was a great time in the industry, things were booming.

Acoustic Works installed lighting and sound systems in AMF Bowling Centers worldwide. We traveled to every town and military base installing Martin Lights and RCF Speakers. I started as a installation tech and became the Project Manager for the entire AMF account. I knew it was time to leave when the owner was hiding his new Jaguar from the investors. Headed to AVWashington....

At The Hit Factory I assisted the lead audio engineer on studio sessions for high profile clients in the music industry. I worked on several records that went Gold and Platinum. Some of the artist I worked with were; Elton John, Mary J Blidge, Sean "P-Diddy" Combs, A Tribe Called Quest, Brandy, Santana, Whitney Houston, Wyclef Jean, The Verve and many more. This was my first job in the music industry after obtaining my Recording Engineering degree from Full Sail. The experience was amazing but the pay was horrible. When I had my first son I needed to pay the bills so I transitioned my skills to Audiovisual Installation. This decision ultimately lead me to where I am today. The Hit Factory was one of the best experiences in my life, landing a job at the BEST recording studio in the world fresh out of college.
