Gregory Maynard is the founder and Executive Director of Boston Policy Institute, Inc a 501 c4 non-profit corporation that was organized and launched in 2023. Prior to launching BPI the Massachusetts native: served as a senior staffer for Suffolk County DA Dan Conley's 2013 Boston mayoral campaign; elected mayors in Brockton, Somerville, and Revere; and played a leading role in the successful campaigns to build two of Massachusetts largest high schools - Lowell High School and Somerville High School. After more than a decade spent working to address issues like the cost of housing, the impact of traffic, the need to invest in public schools, and how to improve local governance, he founded BPI to highlight and monitor issues facing cities and towns across Massachusetts through what is happening in the largest city in the Commonwealth, Boston.
