Selected to serve as Vice Chair of Region 9 and am a member of ACWA’s Region 9 Board (Region 9 includes all of San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial Counties) and Statewide Board Member for the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country. Its 430 public agency members collectively are responsible for 90% of the water delivered to cities, farms and businesses in California. Also formerly Chaired Federal Affairs Committee, for ACWA, and additionally served or serving serving on the State Legislative, Business Development Committee’s thereof, as well as numerous ad hoc committees (including disadvantaged communities) pertaining to water policy. Additionally serve as a member of the Finance Committee of the National Water Resources Association (NWRA), advocating for Federal policies, legislation, and regulations promoting protection, management, development, and beneficial use of water resources.

Leveraging a distinguished career in business and finance, real estate (licensed California agent) and media to provide strategic advisory services to local entrepreneurs, investors and landowners to address over leveraged and/or under performing investments. Also facilitate land entitlement and development for full spectrum of land uses.

Past Board Member and current member of the Finance Committee representing California water purveyors (see ACWA), advocating for Federal policies, legislation, and regulations promoting protection, management, development, and beneficial use of water resources.

Elected November, 2014, and re-elected in 2018 to the Board of Directors of the Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD). Due to the potential of a conflict, I resigned this position in November, 2020, to become the Executive Director/General Manager of the Salton Sea Authority.CVWD was formed in 1918 to protect and conserve local water sources. Since then, the district has grown into a multi-faceted agency that delivers irrigation and domestic (drinking) water, collects and recycles wastewater, provides regional storm water protection, replenishes the groundwater basin and promotes water conservation.CVWD's service area covers approximately 1,000 square miles from the San Gorgonio Pass to the Salton Sea, mostly within the Coachella Valley in Riverside County, California. The boundaries also extend into small portions of Imperial and San Diego counties.

Smart Dog Films is a faith-based nonprofit entertainment company whose primary purpose is evangelization so that people come to a saving knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ. The company funds the productions of its films through donations by private individuals who support our ministry to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of film.

Provided operational and administrative leadership to a local church experiencing significant numeric growth as a result of the effective Bible teaching and the "equipping of the saints". Also oversaw acquisition, planning, entitlement and development of future church campus.

Principally responsible for overseeing acquisition, land planning and entitlement for national developer of recreation-oriented master planned communities. Also charged with overseeing all financial operations, from strategic business planning to day-to-day financial operations and human resources. Developed annual business plans and consollidated operating plan for four golf oriented master planned communities from Florida to California, and pro forma acquisition due diligence for properties throughout North America.
