Implementing software to connect various appliances to control through programs and optimization algorithms. The goal is to construct a self-sustaining and clean microgrid with no reliance on diesel.

Xbox intern for summer 2023 on a feature team. Created rendering components for Android native apps which focused on supporting fast frame turnover without introducing tearing or other artifacts.

Rejoined the Equity By Design Lab to work as a research assistant for a PhD student. The work included literary reviews and compiling news stories into timelines. I also worked with large amount of data and wrote Python code with regular expressions (RegEx) to pull information from the data into more helpful formats.

Worked within Azure Dataverse on optimizing data storage in the cloud using Pyspark to increase efficient access and changes. Researched into new and upcoming data storage formats and platforms to compare to the current format used in cloud storage. Presented and demoed various structures and features that can lower latencies for stored data, and quantified these efficiency differences through performance tests.

Rejoined the Equity By Design Lab at Stanford University to work on a couple of other projects. In one project, I helped to build and code datasets for a hiring audit study. Also did qualitative coding in this study. In another project, I conducted a literature review on the topic of female founders and startup investments.

Interned at TAKLES, a startup product search engine that utilizes AI. Focusing on the software engineering side through learning how to code for user interaction as well as understanding the logic behind the software. After the company ended, this turned into a mentorship with one of the company founders.

Promoted from Finance Intern to Finance Research Assistant in September to the end of the campaign. Worked on the fundraising aspect of the campaign by finding reliable numbers for possible donors. Conducted phone banking and put in call time to secure votes and get people to come to virtual events.

Analyzing research on sociology projects at the Equity By Design Lab. I was working on a project determining how to make workplaces more equal. Organized data, conducted research on individuals, cleaned data, and analyzed it through Stata programming and Excel.

Worked alongside financial advisors to gain experience with wealth management, customer relations, and research on market trends. Helped organize client spreadsheets, talk to clients, research future market trends, and determine possible investment areas.
