It’s this understanding, with support and guidance, they can move forward with their lifetime financial objectives. It’s a big win when I am visibly improving the financial situation of my clients, making them feel secure and settled and open to new goals and possibilities.I’ll be honest, I was drawn to this role because I spent time with financial advisers at my old job, and they always looked like they were having fun and earning lots of money! And seriously, I have been in this role for a long time, and it is fun because it’s a job working with people. I am a people person! My main goal is to help people and I do, every day!In this industry (finance) things are unnecessarily overcomplicated. There’s a lot of compliance on our side, and people think they have to be good at maths to understand finance! I can say from personal experience, that’s not true!Yes, there is detail but it’s not impossible to get a good understanding on your finances. I see my job as educating people, so they understand simply what is going on. It’s the trust and respect and the way I work with my clients, that opens the doors for them to achieve their objectives, personally and financially.
