The accountant assistant applied for the position. During the training I was asked to help review incoming invoices, combine them by company and forward to the UA financial services for payment. Devised a signature file that could have company and account numbers changed and forwarded quickly decreasing the amount of time to process payments.Experienced heavy turnover of the cagewash tech positions, which were usually filled by our youngest employees. Previously, we would email and call interview candidates to set appointments but knowing younger employees are more text savvy, devised a system to schedule candidates by text. This method proved to be a faster way to set appointments. What used to take days now took hours to get them scheduled and our cagewash managers have been very happy with the new system.As the instructional specialist in charge of managing our quarterly training program for researchers we had trainees who inevitably arrived outside of the four-month training cycle and research was being held up. We Created take-home packets that allowed trainees to complete training on demand. With researchers completing required sessions faster, research projects could continue in a timely manner.
