The role I undertook at Unleashed was one that constantly challenged me and aided in developing my skills as a young and ambitious marketer. I was given tasks that involved market research, content development, admin, social media management, enhancing user journey, understanding strategies and working alongside internal and external stakeholders to create and implement marketing campaigns, under the supervision of my marketing manager. All of this allowed me to enhance my creative capabilities in a way to meet the brief objectives and achieve set goals.I quickly learnt the importance of effective communication within the business as I liaised daily with reservations manager, sales manager and managing director. While I had excellent mentorship in this role, I was given a high level of autonomy that enabled me to grow, as a young professional and increase my industry knowledge and skill set. As a result, I had the opportunity to develop marketing campaigns and strategies using my own skill set and coordinate them from idea generation all the way through to execution and evaluation. This was a role in which I was constantly learning and striving to achieve better results. It has given me the confidence I need to continue to achieve my career goals in marketing.
