Working as a temporary bookseller for Waterstones as part of their on-site Bookseller team for the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Giving recommendations and providing quick service to the customers of the Book Festival Book Shop. Facilitating an excellent experience in the signing tent for both authors and readers alike.

Within this role I handled bookings and organised large events as part of a team effort. Prioritised a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers, providing friendly and attentive service while maintaining a clean and tidy restaurant. I also took initiative to restock inventory promptly to meet customer demand.

I greeted customers in a friendly and approachable way during their visit, ultimately aiming to make them feel welcome.
