Manage Trade Sales of general reference product to all major national book retailers and wholesalers, independent booksellers, special sales and mass market accounts, and Library Sales of library reference product to all public and school libraries and library wholesalers. Oversee 30 sales managers for the former, and 92 field and telemarketing representatives for the latter, with full P&L responsibility for annual revenues of $250 million.

As District Manager of Sales Operations, had full P&L responsibility for managing a $150 million, 130 person sales organization which marketed a complete line of Xerox products and services to all commercial businesses, and the government, education and medical marketplaces in all New York boroughs. Oversaw HR management function, the establishment/implementation of all key business processes, development of sales territories, targets and activity level expectations. Insured achievement of all business targets, customer satisfaction management and executive level sales calls. Managed transition to virtual office sales force, saving significant outlay in core office expenses. As District Marketing Manager, 1994 performance met 104% of profit target (#1 in New York area) and 102% of revenue plan (#2 in New York area). Managed all strategy and program development/implementation, all sales hiring and training, new product launches, performance tracking and analysis, and establishing sales territories and sales plans.As Systems Account Sales Manager, performance met 164% of 1993 plan and 152% of 1992 plan. Managed the sales team responsible for marketing all Xerox products and services to the New York City banking and financial services industries, generating $45 million in revenue.
