Working with a qualified teacher to cover psychology A level lessons and provide 1:1 sessions with the students to enhance their understanding.

As a support worker in this mental health and learning disability unit, my responsibilities included; completing observation sheets and daily notes and supporting the clients to improve their daily living skills both in the community and in the unit. This involved managing any challenging behaviour that may be present, and supporting all clients to reach their goals set out by their person centred care plan.

During my time as a volunteer assistant psychologist, I worked within four mental health and learning disability units supporting the clinical psychologist and other members of the MDT. My responsibilities involved completing the psychometric assessments with the clients, writing reports on any progress these showed and attend any MDT and CPA meetings.
