Creative, dedicated and reliable special education teacher. Ultimately, I decided to pursue a degree in education, because of my love and passion for children. I believe my main role as an educator is to create a learning environment in which all of my students feel accepted, worthy and valued. Specifically, I chose to teach special education, because I believe every individual is intelligent and deserves the opportunity to share their talents and skill sets with others. I am an advocate and a problem-solver. I strive to use evidence-based practices in order to aid my students achievement and goals. As a life-long learner, I aspire to gain new knowledge from my students, co-workers and the administrative staff in which I work with, in order to become the best educator I can be.
