Designed and executed a personal research project to determine ways physicians could minimize patient pain during intramuscular and subdermal injections. Coordinated all aspects of clinical research studies, surveyed hundreds of patients, conducted extensive research, troubleshot issues, prepared IRB submissions, and summarized findings for presentations and abstracts. Presenting the research at the AAO-HNSF 2022 Annual Meeting and OTO Experience in September of 2022.

Trained with Dr. Stacie L McClane. Conducted: patient care, charting, laboratory tests, sterilization preparation, assisting during procedures, pre-op procedures, and post-op procedures.Performed various treatments on patients, ensured a high level of safety, reviewed possible adverse reactions and expected outcomes, and maintained patient satisfaction ​​.Organized calendars, oversaw meetings, managed patient priorities, supplied inventory, and implemented new record-keeping systems.

Organized donation drives during COVID-19 for Women’s and Children’s shelters in Chicago, IL, and Champaign, IL. Donated over 5,000 items and raised more than 10,000 dollars. Organizations supported include Courage Connections, The Night Ministry of Chicago, and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.Generated community involvement through outreach and networking skills. Introduced innovative ways of fundraising leading to some of our highest success rates. Implemented a scholarship and mentorship program to further the education of children in need.

Participated as a research assistant on multiple research projects and helped prepare protocols, abstracts, and IRB submissions.Maintained quality control, organization of samples, and troubleshooting for multiple projects at a time to ensure high results.Became proficient with and independently performed many laboratory techniques.Constructed a personal research project based on variations in bile acid regulation during the menstrual cycle.
