Assumed duties as Charge Nurse as necessary making nursing care assignments for Hospital Corps personnel, directed and guided them in providing optimal nursing care. Administered routine intravenous fluids and /or medications, as indicated. Educated patients and family on management of illness/injury. Trained and oriented nurses and corpsmen to clinic functions and procedures.
