This year of work helped hugely to develop my design skills, particularly in terms of working with time constraints while still producing high quality work. I also learnt a great deal about the development side of web building, and had an introduction into dealing with clients directly.This placement while intended to only last a year was extended by the business manager for another year while I completed my course.
