As a freelance designer I have worked with a variety of clients delivering both web and graphic design, including brand development and print work. I also assist with copy writing and photography depending on the client’s requirements.

Reverie Music is a small business I created to work as a pianist within the music industry in Northern Ireland. This involves performing as a soloist for weddings and events of all kinds, working as an accompanist for other musicians and offering services as a recording musician.

Over the course of my time at Output Digital my skills as a frontend developer were given room to progress. Working in a larger team on bigger projects required learning the basics of various programming systems, in order to allow me to build frontend frameworks based on these systems. More complex and challenging designs meant learning to think of elegant.

Mallusk

I worked as a designer and front-end developer alongside Company Director and lead designer Mike Hesketh. I dealt directly with clients to determine what best suited their needs, before moving on to design and build their website. Although my "label" was officially front-end developer, my time there allowed me to grow as a back-end developer also. Working.

While studying the IMD course at University of Ulster, I completed a year's industrial placement at Bluecubes web company in Belfast. This year of work helped hugely to develop my design skills, particularly in terms of working with time constraints while still producing high quality work. I also learnt a great deal about the development side of web.
