I am a lifelong learner passionate about occupational therapy! With over 20 years of experience, I am a highly skilled occupational therapist, particularly in pediatrics.My greatest strength is my ability to collaborate and work with a multi-disciplinary team and clients' families to find solutions to enable children to participate fully in activities they find meaningful. As a lead occupational therapist, I often complete the onboarding and initial training process for new hires and provide ongoing mentorship to team members new to the profession or school-based occupational therapy. I attend various multi-disciplinary meetings with our leadership team and offer feedback and input regarding programs supporting our district's children. As a pediatric occupational therapist, I have worked with children with various diagnoses, such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, specific learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and various genetic diseases. I have mentored Level I and Level II fieldwork students throughout my career as an occupational therapist, and I enjoy learning from my students as well. I graduated from Chatham University’s post-professional OTD program in April 2024.
