I love doing work that places people in the centre. As a social worker and empath, this means working for impact and valuing those I work with and work for. I like to do this with a strategic approach, maximising my capacity and creative thinking in solving big problems. I have previously applied this to project management, helping implement and evaluate local and international programs in the social development sector, ranging from entrepreneur development to violence prevention. I love facilitating meaningful conversations and training workshops with a participatory approach, engaging everyone in the learning process, while I too learn from those around me. I am passionate about women's empowerment and working towards ending sexual and gender-basedviolence. This led to completing an MA in Gender, Violence, and Conflict at the University of Sussex through a fully funded Chevening Scholarship provided by the UK government. This has shaped my strategic approach to violence prevention, committing myself to translating this passion into tangible, impactful solutions. My research on a decolonial feminist approach to violence prevention has shaped my perspective on localisation and building strong relationships with others in ending the GBV pandemic.I am always looking to connect with like-minded individuals and collaborate in meaningful work.
