As an executive assistant, I managed the executive director’s calendar by coordinating meetings, appointments, travel logistics, expense reporting, and tasks. I conducted her communications, including responding to routine correspondence and fielding a variety of email and telephone inquiries. I organized, implemented and maintained filing systems for senior management staff. My role also involved working cross-departmentally. I managed the organization’s website and worked with the development team to copy-edit communications pieces for fundraising appeals, newsletters, events, annual reports, communication to constituents, press releases etc. I developed and facilitated the staff wellness program, and I coordinated trainings for the Coalition of Cultural Equity & Inclusion in Law.

SeePolitical is a non-profit organization that focuses on California voter education. As an intern, I conducted extensive research on California Ballot Propositions for 2016. I strategized voter education distribution methods. Additionally, I developed policy papers on current ballot initiatives.

As an orientation advisor, I mentored incoming students to ease the transition into USC. I presented informational sessions on USC resources and academic advising to incoming students. I facilitated programs and services for new students and their parents, including executing campus tours of student and parent groups of 20. Additionally, I operated Ask Me booths during welcome week, answering any and all questions from campus visitors.
