I have always had an interest and passion for graphic design and web development since I was a sophomore in high school. I always liked to figure out how to present information and data in various ways and different formats that appeal to the eye. In the past I worked at Keystone Research Corporation and worked under the subdivision of Assembly Warehouse Distribution. KSRC’s main goal was to find out ways to support the state of Pennsylvania and provide childcare services and amenities to our youth. I worked as a warehouse assistant under AWD and some tasks I demonstrated on the job included using applications in the Microsoft suite such as Excel and Word on a daily basis. Also one of the many responsibilities I had was to optimize the assembly and distribution of personal protection equipment for all of Pennsylvania. My duties included drafting outlines and proposals that were presented to state officials on a weekly basis, tracking and updating state spreadsheets about our progress during ongoing projects. I am currently well versed in many computing languages such as XML, HTML and Python. My XML experience can be applied to analyze various texts and encode different documentation into a digitized format. Currently I am working on a digital media project for my university. I am creating an interactive arboretum map that displays all of the local species of trees at Penn State Behrend. I will collaborate with Penn State Behrend faculty and other students to publish this interactive map on a hosted website.
