Over the course of my MChem I built knowledge of a wide range of analytical techniques. In my final year I achieved a first in nanotechnology, the content of the module sparked my interest in surface characterisation and combining this with green technology. My research project was based on the link between surface chemistry and electrochromic nature of NiOOH electrocatalysts for oxygen production in the OER for green hydrogen production.
