I am currently a senior at Syracuse University, pursuing Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology on the Pre-Med track. At SU, I am a member of the Renee Crown Honors Program, a recipient of the 1870 Scholarship, and have achieved Dean's list recognition in all semesters. My time at Syracuse has been enriched by the remarkable people I have met, and the unique experiences I have been so lucky to have had. In the last three years, I have been involved in laboratory research, volunteer opportunities with the Shaw Center and Upstate Medical Hospital, and numerous student-run organizations such as the Women's Club Volleyball team and Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity. I credit much of my growth to my work as a peer mentor for international students and First-Year Seminar peer leader. Taking on these two positions have been the most rewarding experiences in all of my time at SU, allowing me to connect with new students, help them adapt to college life, and guide them in meaningful conversations surrounding DEIA. I am embarking on my second internship with Regeneron this summer, where I will be joining the QC Analytical Sciences team at IOPS in Rensselaer, NY. In 2023, I was fortunate enough to intern in the Process Sciences department, working on a project that would directly impact future manufacturing of drug products. To conclude the internship, I summarized my findings and presented a poster to staff and upper management.My many passions have lead me to pursue a career in healthcare, and I am actively working towards my goal of attending medical school following my graduation from SU. I am seeking shadowing, volunteer, and work opportunities that will allow me to learn and gain firsthand experience in the medical field!
