Full-time elementary tutor at a majority ESL school. Worked daily on developing reading and writing skills with young children, as well as attending professional development days through the school, and organization-wide trainings through The Literacy Lab and AmeriCorps. As part of the program, I participated in extensive community service, and was involved in school events and extracurriculars, sponsoring the school's newspaper club for both year. I was promoted to tutor leader in my second year in this role, and lead trainings, organized team members, materials, and plans for our branch of the organization.
