About Grace Goodwin
I am currently a junior at Florida State University majoring in marketing in the College of Business. While taking classes full time under scholarship, I am also a part time bartender and active in several different professional societies across campus. I aim to excel not only in my major, but also in the future as I am highly motivated to pursue a career in marketing and to cement myself in the industry itself. I have worked in several high pressure restaurants and establishments, and have excelled in customer service since I was 15. Through my experience as a retail sales associate, serving, bartending, managing, expo, and hostess, I have cultivated within myself a passion for guest connection and problem solving.Prior to my experience as a student at Florida State University, I attended St Joseph Academy Preparatory School. I was involved in four different honor societies as well as Chief Editor of the yearbook, while captaining our tennis team, volunteering and working 30 hours a week at a high capacity, upscale restaurant. I was also a registered boxer of Boxing USA where I learned true physical as well as mental and emotional resilience. I learned crucial time management skills, as well as organizational leadership and succeeded academically to earn a collegiate Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholarship.
