I am passionate about people receiving emotional and psychological healing in order to live out their full potential. I am patient and adaptable, I actively work to create harmony, I am diligent in my studies, and am dedicated to my personal and professional development. The therapeutic skills I currently have to offer are genuine empathy, the ability to attune well, emotional containment skills, self awareness, and intentionally listening to understand. My personal philosophy of therapy is that clients are most accurately assessed and treated through a holistic developmental lens. I believe that when a client’s ecological context is considered, a client can be more accurately understood. I align with the wellness model because I believe that clients can not only experience a decrease or elimination of symptoms but can also experience wellness. I hold the belief that the therapeutic relationship with the client is one of the most transformative avenues for healing relational wounds. I strongly believe that emotional, cognitive, psychological, and behavioral change is possible through individualized treatment. I believe that offering clients an emotionally safe environment where they can process their experiences is necessary for effective treatment. My therapeutic demeanor is warm, compassionate, and calm. I am passionate about diversity, social justice, and every client getting to experience safety and healing. I am open to working with all age ranges and desire to work with clients both individually and in group settings. My skills and passions have been cultivated through my 10 years of volunteer work in the inner city of Watts, my time working for Envision LA, my experience at the Moon International Center, and having the opportunity to be a paraprofessional for a semester
