• Provide support in administration and implementation of federal and state grant deliverables at a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aiming to improve access to quality healthcare in rural and underserved communities through rural health workforce training. • Grant areas include Rural Communities Opioid Response Program, NYS Opioid Prevention and Education, Appalachian Regional Commission Health Career Grant, AHEC Scholars Program, Rural Immersion Programs. • Other responsibilities include recruitment, coordination, placement, and case management of program participants.• Develop and strengthen ties to other community and social services organizations and community members.

•Develop, implement, and coordinate programs for students and career-seekers in order to facilitate their exposure, education, and recruitment to the health professions. •Develop core model programs for replication and future funding. •Coordinate student placements, school-based health career fairs, health education activities, activities geared towards recruitment, retention initiatives, continuing education and professional development opportunities, and the placement of health professional students in community based clinical practice units.•Serve as a liaison between participating partners, including schools, colleges, hospitals, community health centers, and community-based organizations. Represent the agency in meetings, collaborations, conferences, and work groups. Maintain an up-to-date file listing contact information and relevant information regarding CNYAHEC community partners.•Coordinate publication of a CNYAHEC newsletter and assist in the development of content on the CNYAHEC website.•Prepare and submit all required reports and related documentation accurately and on-time.•Prepare and present program reports and essential updates to the CNYAHEC Board of Directors.•Develop, implement, and support the overall evaluation of programming by using existing tools, or creating new tools, systems, and processes, to assess effectiveness and efficiency of the Center’s initiatives.•Recruit, orient, and supervise student interns.•Develop new partnerships and collaborations intended to enhance programming efforts and secure additional funding for the Center.•Contribute towards the continuous recruitment and retention of the AHEC Scholars Program: a 2-year interdisciplinary clinical program for health professional students.•Work with the HWNY team to coordinate programming, operational, and development initiatives.•Work with the NYS AHEC System to ensure effective communication, reporting, and related compliance performance.
