Summer Camp- Math Enrichment Program. Facilitated math enrichment to bridge learning gaps and set students up for success in the following school year.

I work throughout the year with this organization. During the school year, I am apart of the after-school staff. I am responsible for picking the students up at school, help serve meals, provide academic and emotional support, tutor students, carry out disciplinary actions, and supervise activities. In the summer, I am a camp counselor. During this position, I am responsible for a group of students, ages 5 through 8. I plan their day with academic activities, short field trips, walks around the community, pool time, arts and crafts, and much more. I make sure the children are safe and are following the rules and expectations of the camp. I am also responsible for carrying out disciplinary actions and communicating with the child's parents or guardians. Throughout both of these positions, I must communicate and collaborate with all of my coworkers. This requires interpersonal skills, open and effective communication, and adaptability.
