Oversee team of eight employees, 150 volunteers to support events recruiting local families to join the UMD research subject database.-Wrote, designed, and produced brochure series on child development for health care providers and hospitals- now used in more than 3,000 patient discharge packets and hospital child development classes.-Prepare and organize recruitment events for UMD child development research at 50+ events in the DC area, including the DC Science and Engineering Festival (350,000 attendees.) Increased amount of families recruited at events by 68% since starting position.Wrote Infant and Child Studies website. -Find and collect documents and sources related to Dr. Indra Ekmanis’ research on the role played by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Latvian Service in the dissolution of the USSR. -Edit and proofread Dr. Ekmanis’ ongoing research papers. -Compile bibliographies and provide administrative support.

-Works with graduate student mentor Rachel Dudley, Dr. Jeffrey Lidz, and Dr. Valentine Hacquard on semantic language acquisition studies. -Runs and directs children in acquisition studies in the form of interactive games. Helps manage data collection and scheduling to complete project on time. -Codes and analyzes study videos and compiles corpus data.

Manages patron safety at the olympic natatorium and outdoor aquatic center. Maintains surveillance of patrons in the pool with headcounts and constant supervision. Takes preventative measures to ensure patron safety. Performs appropriate rescue in the event of drowning and swimming accidents, as well as First Aid and CPR. Participates in mandatory weekly physical fitness requirement (500 meter swim), as well as mandatory monthly skills and physical fitness evaluations.

Helped lead monthly lifeguard training exercises for staff of 100 lifeguards, and conduct risk management audits of other lifeguards and Eppley staff on rescue, CPR, AED, first aid skills.

Instructed beginner students (ages 7-15) on the mechanics and know-how to sail small boats independently and competetively. Managed camper safety on the water, as well as developed lesson plans for two week camp sessions.
