led a student-driven service learning program for fifth grade students interested in community advocacy work. My team planned and executed a school-wide "Health Week" and raised over $400 for our sister school in Haiti. I also led a homework help group, and supported students writing their community blog.

Counseled "at risk" students individually using structured and child-directed play therapy to work towards achieving treatment goals. Some of these goals included social skill building, increasing frustration tolerance, reducing anxiety, and providing support through conflict or transitions in the child's home life. I worked collaboratively with parents and teachers to best support the child.I co-facilitated three support groups for 23 students in small groups with the shared experience of separation or divorce of their parents or caregivers. The children in these groups benefited from education, normalization and shared connections with peers.
